Russell has nearly 30 years’ experience at the market-technology and private-public interfaces. Including c-level executive, and non-executive director experience in business and government and a career-long commitment to market-focused entrepreneurialism.
He possesses outstanding leadership, strategy, managerial and project skills with proven experience in leading and managing diverse teams that have successfully managed significant organisational, cultural and systemic change in both large and small organisations. His leadership skills have been refined through more than ten years C-level or equivalent experience leading SMEs and large government teams where he has deployed significant human, financial and physical resources to effect change by disrupting existing markets or practices and processes through the introduction of new and highly innovative goods and services often built on novel and enabling technology platforms.
Currently, he is involved in four main businesses; Theobroma Plantations, which is establishing and developing cacao orchards in North Queensland, Cyprinoid Solutions, who provide crisis and change management services, particularly to large organisations at the public-private regulatory interface, Innovation Architects, a start-up facilitator and business accelerator focused on the Australian-ASEAN market and Mandalay Funds Management, that manages funds and investments in the agri-tech farm-to-fork space.
