Based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Raiyo has over 18 years of experience establishing and managing new ventures and business units, with full P&L responsibility, across multiple sectors in C-suite roles and has a deep knowledge of startups and scale up activities in the Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore and Hong Kong regions.
His venture management experience includes investing in start-ups (both personally & via a fund), raising capital for new ventures, building ‘investment ready’ start-ups, advising & coaching entrepreneurs.
Stakeholder engagements include shareholders & investors (angels & VCs), Chairman & directors, C-suite senior executives & teams, strategic partners & vendors, government agencies, entrepreneurs and he was previously the Managing Director and Partner of Mercatus Ventures, Vice President of the Malaysian Business Angel Network and also currently acts as the Managing Partner at Serendipity Ventures.
