In Vietnam, IA is partnering with Dr. Nguyen Boa Thoa, Director of the Vietnam Rural Industries Research and Development Institute (VIRI). As Director, VIRI, Dr. Nguen has led the VIRI team in recent years to support more than 300 companies, cooperatives and production groups benefitting over 50,000 households with a positive impact in terms of income improvement, climate change mitigation and women empowerment.
Dr. Nguyen is also the project coordinator/lead consultant for the International Trade Center for the Shetrades program.
